REFRIGERANT GAS 22

R22 is a single component HCFC refrigerant that has historically been used for air conditioning, medium-temperature and low-temperature refrigeration. Most air conditioning units older than 10 years utilize an AC refrigerant called R22 that’s commonly identified as Freon*, and is noted by the EPA as HCFC-22.
R22 is suitable for a wide range of refrigeration and air conditioning applications across a wide range of temperatures.
